We are a leader in analyzing the gut microbiome, helping our clients understand how their products impact the gut microbiome. We have experience working with both humans and animal models of nutrition and have supported numerous large cohort studies in infant nutrition, prebiotic and probiotic research and development.
Better Studies
Our clients benefit from collaborating with our highly experienced scientific team to achieve their study goals.
Support Health Claims
Our clients trust us to provide data and insights needed to support health claims within regulatory agencies.
Experience in gut samples
Our clients benefit from the depth of expertise our team has in analyzing the gut microbiome.
The most common and economical approach for analysis of composition of microbial communities. Based on high-throughput sequencing of PCR amplicons for prokaryotic communities (16S V4, V1-V3 or V4_skin), eukaryotic communities (18S), fungal communities (ITS2), and archaeal communities (16S V4-V5).
Quantitation of total microbial density or specific microbial populations which targets the whole community, as it provides the absolute abundance of the total bacteria community.
SCFAs may be an integral link between diet, gut microbiota, and human health. Incorporating SCFA testing into your study can help provide additional insights to support your product development or health claim.
“Educating students to develop the skills and knowledge to take a sample from sample collection to data processing is important; however, data processing can always be a bottleneck. After talking with Microbiome Insights, I became interested in their sample-to-data-analysis aspect to alleviate some laboratory burden. Microbiome Insights was fast, accurate, and allowed me to tailor my data outputs to my own needs for publication.”
